Barbury Racecourse has struck a partnership agreement with the Wiltshire Gazette & Herald which will see the events at Barbury promoted through the newspaper group's three Wiltshire titles, which also include the Wiltshire Times and Swindon Advertiser.

"We're delighted to be working with Barbury,"reports Sports Editor Owen Houlihan. "Barbury is the best attended ongoing equestrian venue within our readership footprint, and our readers enjoy news and reports from both racing and for that matter eventing at Barbury. We look forward to developing both our promotional and editorial exposure and to reaching a new group of Gazette enthusiasts through this partnership." The partnership is beginning strongly with a half price admission offer for Gazette readers using a promotional voucher code only available in paper this week.

"The Gazette and its sister papers are really strong regional titles that will add to our visibility," adds Peter McNeile for Barbury. "I'm sure we can add value to each other, and I look forward to meeting lots of the papers' readers at Barbury over the coming months.

In other news, Barbury Racecourse is to partner with Local Uncovered to showcase the racecourse to both a b2b abd b2c community in Wiltshire. Local Uncovered represents a large number of small businesses across Wiltshire and promotes them across the web. Barbury will be the first sporting venue to be showcased on the site, which covers a diverse range of businesses from food & beverage outlets and artisans to upholsterers and specialist craft skills.

"We're delighted to work with Local Uncovered," remarks Peter McNeile for Barbury. "The racecourse and Trials needs representation among the business community within the county and Local Uncovered is a fresh and innovative means of raising our profile amongst businesses and the many consumers who look for information on the site."
