Walter Bull, the established famly jewellers in Cirencester, is to become the official trophy supplier to the three leading events at Barbury Racecourse this winter, starting with the recently concluded Point-to-Point Owners & Riders Association fixture.

The agreement with Barbury, which also covers the Barbury International, both Vine & Craven fixtures at Barbury and Hackwood, and the Avon Vale at Larkhill on Easter Saturday, will provide a more valuable range of awards than hitherto.

"No-one campaigns a horse in the Point-to-Point sector for the prize money,"remarked Barbury Racecourse's Peter McNeile. "With prize funds capped at a maximum of £1,000, and often run at a lot less, our trophies mean a great deal to winning connections. We're delighted to be working with Walter Bull to add value to our winners across multiple events."

James Gegg, Managing Director of Walter Bull, added,"Barbury is no distance from our shop in Cirencester, and we already supply a number of prestigious events, including Badminton Horse Trials. We number a great many horsemen and their families from Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties among our clientele, so we're absolutely delighted to support Wiltshire's leading Point-to-Point racecourse."
